This is the question that is on my mind for two years now, and I don’t have an answer.
I have been too few conferences, not too many but enough to notice it: On all of them, I have seen a lot interesting subject lot of interesting ideas…
And I have done practically nothing with them!
This year I will be speaking at two conferences Agile Automation Days in Poland And SEETEST in Bulgaria. Which led me again to this question
How to take most out of conferences?
I have read a lot and asked few people. But I think the best answer I have seen was on one of Dublin Ministry of Testing Meetups. From a man called Sergey:
„Now think what are you going to do different tomorrow!”
Why do I think it is the best possible answer? If you don’t do something different tomorrow then possibly you never going to do it.
So I know it is a little cheap shot but after reading this post:
„Think what are you going to do different tomorrow.”
Lately, my activity on meetups and conferences have increased if you want to read about my experience from conferences read here and for other events here.

In my opinion, the best of conferences is the networking side of them. The topics of the talks are great discussion starters to get to know others with your same interests and how other people have dealt with problems that you have or will have in the future.
